Digital membership cards are an easy way to help verify membership, offer additional benefits, and more!

Digital membership cards allow your members to keep their access to your organization right in their pocket. Many members will already have an app for boarding passes, concert tickets, or loyalty cards, and now you can make use of this app as well. 

Members on iPhones or Android phones can make use of digital cards, and the member's name, membership type, status, and ID number will all be available on theie ccnz digital card.

How members can use their Digital Membership Cards

Cannabis Club New Zealand have set up Digital Membership Cards, so that members receive a card attached to their email Membership Confirmations

These Digital Membership Cards are compatible with all Apple iOS and Android smartphones.

Digital Membership Cards on iPhones

On your iPhone, adding a Digital Membership Card is simple -- as it natively integrates with Apple's Wallet app. 

When viewing your Membership Confirmation within your preferred email client (such as Gmail, Outlook, Mail app), you can click on the Membership Card attachment. 

Once you click on the file, the card will open and you can use the 'Add' button to include the Membership Card in your Wallet app.

Digital Membership Cards on Android

On your Android smartphone, adding a Digital Membership Card requires an app that supports Passes. Many members will already have an app for Boarding Passes, Concert Tickets, or Loyalty Cards -- but if you don't currently have a Passes app, then we recommend downloading this one 

(link to Google Play store). 

When viewing your Cannabis Club New Zealand Membership Confirmation within your preferred email client (such as Gmail, Outlook, Mail app), you can click on the Membership Card attachment and you'll be asked which app you want to use for the Digital Membership Card. 

Select your preferred app for Passes, and you're good to go!

When activated by an Organization, a Digital Membership Card will include the following

Member's Name

Membership Type 

Membership Status

Membership ID - CCNZ0000101

We are working with our membership management software team to include your card artwork on your digital card. 

However, until we are able to merge the two cards, you can upload your members card artwork from our club website. Add it to the wallpaper nia ‘ Settings ‘ on your phone.

In fall of 2024 Cannabis Club New Zealand tech team installed a new feature that supports the purchasing of Gift Memberships. 

A gift membership is when a consumer purchases a Membership for some one else. 

When building this feature, there were many considerations that were made to facilitate this process to make it smooth for the Gift Giver, Gift Recipient, and for your admins of Cannabis Club New Zealand

Features

When purchasing a gift, an account will not be created for the Gift Giver

When purchasing a gift, the Gift Giver can add a short custom message

When purchasing a gift, the Gift Giver will receive a confirmation email

When purchasing a gift, a password will not be collected for the member (Gift Recipient)

When receiving a gift, the member (Gift Recipient) will receive a membership confirmation email with the Gift Giver's message

For affiliate organizations, we’ve created a URL for their profile that puts Gift Giver into the purchase flow for buying a ‘Gift’ membership.

This makes it easy to link to a list of all your memberships, so affiliate organizations can link to this URL from their website behind a ‘Call To Action’ like ‘Buy a Gift’

For affiliate organizations, we’ve also enabled a way for you to link directly to specific Membership Type for folks to purchase a ‘Gift Membership’

This makes it easy to link to an individual membership type, so Affiliate Businesses, Influencers, Public Figures, Supporting Groups or Organizations can link to this URL from their website behind a ‘Call To Action’ like ‘Gift a Silver Affiliate Membership’ (where ‘Silver Affiliate Membership’ is the name of your Membership Type)

How members can switch Membership Types during Renewal

One of the most powerful benefits of using the Cannabis Club New Zealand partner platform is how easy we make it for members to renew their memberships 

(our members are set up to automatically re-bill).  

Through the Cannabis Club New Zealand platform, unique links are generated so that your members seamlessly land on their renewal checkout -- which automatically populates their existing information, making it an easy one-step purchase. 

In additional to facilitating a simple checkout, we also provide the option to switch Membership Types -- so you can renew at a different level.

Information for Members looking to download a PDF receipt or invoice for a Membership payment. 

As a member, you can download PDFs for membership payments that were made online and through Cannabis Club New Zealand via the Member Portal for the respective Organization. 

If you're already logged into the Member Portal, then you'll see there's a section called 'Payments' that lists all of your membership payments to Cannabis Club New Zealand .

When you click on one of these payments, you'll see a more detailed view of the payment -- and the option to "Download Payment Record" (currently, this is only available for online payments made through Join It).

Information for Organizations looking to learn more about the Member Portal and what's available to Members

To send members to your Member Portal, you can link them to your main profile (your Profile link is customizable and can be found on your Dashboard) where they'll find a button at the top that says "Already a Member? Log in". Alternatively, you can add a "/members" to the end of your Profile link to send members directly to the Member Portal. 

One component of these membership details includes payments made by the member to Cannabis Club New Zealand . 

These payments are listed beneath the card displaying the main details on a membership and members can click on the cards to view additional details and a receipt. 

This receipt will display differently depending on the configuration of the organization. Including the following scenarios: 

Organization's Address: If an organization has set an address, then the address will display under 'Invoice From'

Recipient's Address: If the respective membership type is collecting an address, then the address for the invoice recipient will display under 'Invoice To'. 

Line Item for Tax: If the organization has set tax rules, then there will be a separate line item displaying the calculated tax.
